Pros

- Work life balance - Compensation/benefits/company paid holidays - Office perks - coffee/snacks/building amenities/gym I feel like I have a really healthy balance between working and personal time. The company provides great benefits with 20 PTO days and 11 paid holidays. The Friday before a holiday is usually a half day also. I like the people I work with and can see a clear connection between the work that I do and how I contribute to the company. Since the company is growing I also have a lot of freedom to make changes/take ownership of projects that I'm interested in. I can definitely see myself staying with Ferrara for years.

Cons

- Lack of autonomy between roles and accountability - it seems like whenever something goes wrong people are more concerned about clearing their name rather than fixing the problem. We could all benefit from helping each other rather than pointing the finger.

Cons

Very cut throat / unforgiving culture Poor work / life balance Poor IT systems Unrealistic deadlines, “Ferrara Fast” High employee turnover Most work is churn at the corporate level, does not feed into proper decisions / strategy execution at the executive level Short term performance management, worse than Private Equity companies. Week to week performance reviews of the business, leading to substandard results in market and serious risk of long term underperformance
