- long hours - shifting direction. We start going one direction without fully thinking through it which leads to rework later - high burnout - in our town hall, the response to this is “did you download the calm app yet?” or “take a class on our learning platform for how to better deal with stress.” Get ready to be told “we’re working on it” a lot without really seeing results or changes. - overworked - our department is short staffed and our director doesn’t care and gives us more work anyway. - not transparent with COVID - we still have to wear masks in the office but there have been people testing positive. We have no contact tracing and people in other departments aren’t notified of pockets of outbreaks. Positive cases/outbreaks are also not addressed openly in our town halls. - no summer hours
