Flexible schedule Relatively easy starting job but you need to be comfortable on the phone most of the day. Well rounded benefits offering that really enhances the pay. 4 weeks and 3 days of PTO when you start plus an additional 9 holidays. The Console Team! Just a lack of communication and poor policies/procedures. The company is growing very quickly so trying to get random time off (PTO/VTO) is difficult. You can just take vacation but if it isn’t approved by console, your file will updated/documented to account for this. Too much power is given to console and they can be stingy with granting PTO or VTO for that matter. As good as Fidelity is at so many things, this process needs some fine tuning. As you move up the ladder, you are required to handle overflow from other areas that you worked with in the past. This only becomes a problem during busy season and the reason it is difficult is because you forget things when you move on plus things are always changing (policy and procedure updates mostly). This isn’t a con for necessarily for Fidelity but if you do move onward/upward quickly, this can be a nuisance. You and your partner (and maybe others) will be required to move most of your investment accounts to Fidelity. This can be a good thing but I did move a 401(k) that had a brokerage link attached to it that cost $100 to liquidate (before moving) and Fidelity wouldn’t reimburse me for it.

Benefits including profit sharing and bonuses are great. The breadth of this company provides a great opportunity to try out different career paths or boost your current one.

In my current role, I am working overtime more often than I'd like with recognition that seems to only go so far until it sizzles out. That may be tied to the size of the company itself, where promotions work in a "trickle down" manner.
