Pros

The teams working on blockchain are making a progress, and have creative ideas.

Cons

Most people in the company are miserable and terrified of backstabbing, the behavior that accurately defines the culture. There are no subject matter experts, weak product team. There is zero transparency, and the leadership prefers it that way, even thought majority of the employees are struggling to identify goals and priorities. The leadership, especially the COO yells at people, disrupts them during calls, and creates necessary tension between departments.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are disappointed to read you didn’t have a better experience. We take every review (good or bad) seriously and try to scale what is positive and address issues. We strive for transparency with weekly all hands meetings and AMAs and encourage time off to recharge. We use our weekly pulse surveys, which indicate a high degree of satisfaction and recommend Figure as a great place to work, as a benchmark of how we're operating. As with any startup, we are moving fast but employees should feel supported. If an employee feels we aren't holding ourselves to that standard, we encourage them to talk with their Managers or People Operations so we can address concerns.

Pros

I have been with Figure for 5 years, starting as an Associate Engineer and growing into a Senior Engineer. This company has genuinely changed my life and helped me build the kind of future I dreamed about when I was first starting out in college. I’ve worked alongside truly excellent engineers, been given meaningful growth opportunities, and have been more than fairly compensated along the way, including raises that kept my pay highly competitive even between promotions. The work is engaging, challenging, and keeps me sharp. The culture is one of the best parts of the company: a rare blend of fast iteration, high ownership, strong engineering talent, and controlled chaos in the best possible way. Figure moves quickly, embraces emerging technology, and continues to grow without losing the energy that makes it exciting to work here.

Cons

The pace may not be for everyone. Figure has a startup-like culture where things move fast, priorities can shift, and teams are expected to adapt quickly. I personally find that refreshing and motivating because it keeps the work from becoming monotonous. However, people coming from environments where change is slower or processes are more rigid may need time to adjust.

Pros

Free health insurance, the option to work from home, pay was good.

Cons

They hire and fire at will. They have no real training program. They throw all this stuff at you and advise to take notes, then they tell you that you have 3 assessments to take. They tell you that you cant look at any of the documents or tools that they provided to you to do the job. How they expect you to know all that is impossible. Then they let you to believe that you passed and put you on the floor doing the job. Two days later they call you after you go home, to say oh you didnt pass training.. You didnt get the score of 85. Did not matter that I was doing the job and getting high QA scores. and they dont let you repeat training, they just fire you. You are just a number to them and not a human being.
