Pros

I came to Filevine feeling very unqualified for the job at hand. I was convinced I would be fired the first week. But to my surprise, they actually didn't and instead asked me how they could help. They have given me all sorts of opportunity to grow my skills and I could not be more grateful. This place has pushed me to be better in my field with healthy coaching and mentorship. I honestly can not see myself anywhere else in the future. Our incredible CCO by making sure all are welcome and all are valued. He especially champions his Military Veteran employees by rallying behind them and their goals and to show that they matter and that means a lot. Our CEO is a Bear. He may come off a little intense, but like a Bear, God help anyone who comes after his Cubs (employees). His willingness to make sure his people are taken care of and that smart business decisions are being made, he truly cares and definitely conducts business that is not only best for his company but those of us that work here. Our CFO is tough. But incredibly gifted. What blessing and talent to have here as he has guided us in these uncertain times in the US. My team is incredible and never been closer to a team than I have here. Never in a million years would I think I be fortunate enough to be with such a wonderful team who are incredibly smart and talented and kind. Sales folks here are some of the hardest workers I know. All AMs to AEs and beyond seem to have some sort of "Skin in the Game" and the sacrifices they make to make sure they make their quota is admirable. Our HR Department is unique in the way where they actually care. And im not saying that because anyone told me to, but they actually do. Our head of HR is incredibly kind and selfless. There was some hard decisions that had to be made a few months ago, and the humility and thoughtfulness she displayed during that time was admirable. As was our manager of HR. Both displayed the utmost respect and empathy that I think we all could aspire to be like. Our engineers are hilarious and have great taste in video games. Our marketing department is so much fun and any time I get to work with any of them its nothing but a good time. The incredible hard work they have put into LEX and other things makes me feel sometimes I don't do enough around here lol. I could keep going, but what I wanna say, is that I am so thankful to be here among these people. I have learned so much from them. Not only in my field, but in life. These people have amazing back stories and have over come incredible odds. I think thats why this place is the way that it is. These really unique outcast who bring so much of themselves here, that you can help but want to be the best version of yourself. Not only in your work but in your personal life. What a blessing.

Cons

No place is perfect. And im not gonna pretend this place is. Every company or startup has its faults and you can not please everyone. No one will be happy no matter what the benefits are, or what the PTO is. Everyone is different. But I will say, cutting half-day summer first Fridays hurt.

Pros

Full remote, "people first" AI adoption, and cutting edge technology. One of the best technilogy orgs I have been a part of. Very innovation friendly- new ideas are welcomed! Generous time off and flexible working environment.

Cons

No bonuses, but the higher base pay makes up for it. There are growing pains where some people get overloaded, but management addresses those areas quickly.

Pros

The product is pretty good and I like the swag/merch

Cons

The BDR department has taken a downward spiral since I started at Filevine. The VP makes inappropriate comments and acts like he is better than everyone else. The director noticeably plays favorites, gives events to the same people even if we earn our spot and we often wonder what he does all day. The rest of the managers do the best they can working under those 2. The only manager who helped their team get to quota was recently kicked out, leaving a gap in the department and leaving the other managers to pick up the slack. Everyone is burned out and management doesnt seem to care, they just keep micromanaging and shoving higher and higher numbers down our throats we are never going to hit. We get punished if we ask for time off and don't bother calling in sick or you will have to show proof. If we dont do it their way then you will never get promoted and Im proof of that. There is ZERO flexibility even if you have appointments or outside things happening. It feels like a prison at times. Do yourself a favor and look for another way to get into Sales. I was told how great it was to work at Filevine and I have not seen that yet. No wonder everyone quits.
