Pros

I hear that salaries are good, but it's probably the only way they can attract/keep people. Although as a woman who worked there, I have since found out that I was seriously underpaid compared to my counterparts.

Cons

It's been several years since I've been employed at Filevine and nothing has improved. The reviews show that management continues to get worse and does not take feedback seriously. FIRING: They continue to fire without cause or opportunity to improve. When I was let go and asked why, I was told literally "I can't tell you". They will also let go most or all of an entire team, only to post openings months later. TIME OFF: PTO is so frowned upon that I've seen employees taking calls from hospital beds and at 6am on New Years Day. I know of several who were fired ON VACATION. Those are the people that are celebrated, so if you enjoy that, you'll do well. GOALS: You will never hit any goals set for your team, or if you do, you'll be chastised for not setting higher goals. One good month is now the minimum standard going forward. REMOTE OPPORTUNITIES: If you work remotely, good luck being privy to anything important. If you are not in the office, you are not valued. Many important decisions are held informally and without communication. I don't think it's a coincidence that I was let go weeks after I was asked to move to Utah because I "could go far at this company" and I told them I could not. DIVERSITY: I'm not sure it's a word that's even understood at Filevine, let alone anything they would care about. I understand that it's Utah, but if Filevine was really open to the best talent, there would be more remote roles, which would open up your employee base to include folks that aren't male, white, straight, and Mormon. FEEDBACK: Assume that nothing you submit here is anonymous. I was a part of several meetings where I was audience to execs guessing, assuming, and narrowing down which negative feedback came from which employees, so they could squash it, NOT address it.

Pros

Full remote, "people first" AI adoption, and cutting edge technology. One of the best technilogy orgs I have been a part of. Very innovation friendly- new ideas are welcomed! Generous time off and flexible working environment.

Cons

No bonuses, but the higher base pay makes up for it. There are growing pains where some people get overloaded, but management addresses those areas quickly.

Pros

The product is pretty good and I like the swag/merch

Cons

The BDR department has taken a downward spiral since I started at Filevine. The VP makes inappropriate comments and acts like he is better than everyone else. The director noticeably plays favorites, gives events to the same people even if we earn our spot and we often wonder what he does all day. The rest of the managers do the best they can working under those 2. The only manager who helped their team get to quota was recently kicked out, leaving a gap in the department and leaving the other managers to pick up the slack. Everyone is burned out and management doesnt seem to care, they just keep micromanaging and shoving higher and higher numbers down our throats we are never going to hit. We get punished if we ask for time off and don't bother calling in sick or you will have to show proof. If we dont do it their way then you will never get promoted and Im proof of that. There is ZERO flexibility even if you have appointments or outside things happening. It feels like a prison at times. Do yourself a favor and look for another way to get into Sales. I was told how great it was to work at Filevine and I have not seen that yet. No wonder everyone quits.
