- pay rises are very small - a lot of juniors are hired while a lot of seniors/experts are leaving for better opportunities (which, considering the pay, aren't hard to find) - internships are too long (6 months) and if you choose to work part-time for whatever reason, they won't promote you to associate positions because they don't have part-time jobs (at least in Romania), so they extend the internship to another 6 months
