Pros
Fun staff. Fast paced. A lot to learn. Easy shifts. Great for developing a fast paced work ethic (if you put in the effort)
Cons
Co-workers are inefficient and often need help with simple tasks. Can get overwhelmingly busy. Managers are unprofessional and leak info about other employees. Managers have no regard to the schedules that they make in regards to when employees are "allowed" to clock out. Franchisee expects his employees to learn literally everything firehouse related, and operate at a managerial level, but is not willing to pay them for their skills and usefulness. A 25cent per hour "raise" from $8.25 to $8.50 hardly equals a fair payout for the amount of work they expect to be done. Shift leaders only get $9 an hour with even more responsibility then a crew member. Other jobs have $9 as their starting pay for a lot less responsibility and heartache.
