Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We value your feedback and are sorry to hear about the impact these changes had. We recognize that transitions, especially those involving leadership and organizational structure, can be challenging, and we understand how concerns around transparency, fairness, and support can affect morale. Decisions related to restructuring are made with careful consideration of long-term strategy, though we acknowledge that the outcomes may not always feel clear or consistent in the moment. Your feedback regarding communication, process knowledge, and leadership support is important, and we are actively working to strengthen alignment, clarity, and teammate experience across the organization. Pros

This is truly a work hard, play hard workplace where effort and dedication are recognized and rewarded. Leadership genuinely values employees and supports those who take ownership of their self-development. You’re encouraged to ask questions, learn, and grow and that support makes a real difference. If you show that you want to be here, put in the effort, and embrace the culture, leadership notices and rewards you for it. I am extremely happy working here and truly appreciate everything the Credit Union and SLT invest in us as employees. The commitment to growth, transparency, and employee success is clear and deeply valued.

Cons

I have nothing negative to add - I’m extremely happy working here.

Pros

There are a lot of talented employees here who genuinely care about members and work hard every day. The individual contributors are the reason why this credit union continues to function.

Cons

The biggest issue is leadership. Morale has been declining for years and leadership continues to act surprised about it. During layoffs, experienced Operations leaders with years of institutional knowledge were eliminated, only to have leadership positions later filled by individuals from Retail with little or no background in ACH, wires, Check 21, mobile deposits/ATM, IRAs, and other areas in operations. Nothing against those individuals personally, but employees found themselves having to train their own leaders on the areas they were now managing. That should never happen. If you look at similar Operations leadership roles at other credit unions, a strong foundation in those areas is usually expected before getting the job. Here it felt like operational experience took a back seat to relationships and visibility. The message employees received was pretty clear: EXPERTISE IS OPTIONAL, favoritism is not. The company spends a lot of time talking about culture, engagement, and transparency, but actions speak louder than town halls and Great Place to Work surveys. Employees notice when experienced leaders are replaced with people who have to learn the basics of the department after they’re already in charge.
