Pros

for direct line staff, the flexible schedule, mileage reimbursement, and flexibility in professional development opportunities are unbeatable. most of the mid-managers are pretty strong and support their staff. direct line staff can easily take PTO without feeling guilty, and can freely take mental health days.

Cons

the outcome and productivity metrics can be tough to meet, and at times feel unrealistic. the pay is good, but could be better for the bay area

Pros

Great people to work with - everyone is so friendly and kind Great mission - serving a population frequently overlooked Flexible schedule - hybrid work that only requires once a week in office Intentional Leadership - Execs really work to understand their staff & improve their workload Parenting-Friendly - Understanding managers who prioritize parenting and all the associated flexibility needs

Cons

Workload - understaffed in some departments, but a lot of thought going into improving this con Pay - it is non-profit pay so none of us are here gettin' rich :) the work is very fulfilling regardless
