Good benefits, schedule can be tough, limited raises. - Desk Attendant Supervisor FirstService Residential Employee Review

Pros

Usually low stress. Benefits are great for full-time. I get 3 weeks off pto plus a week for sick time and vacation time on holidays. I work at a residential building full of kind people who really care about me.

Cons

Tough schedule sometimes. I work evenings. Also, no room for big raises (I think this is due to the varying budgets of each building). The job itself can feel isolating sometimes. I am responsible for covering shifts if nobody else can, sometimes my manager expects me to find shift coverage when I am sick/on vacation, which is really unfortunate.

Pros

At the time, I was working overnight at a condominium, and the quiet environment gave me the opportunity to focus on my schoolwork since there was very little activity throughout the building. The team I worked with was incredible, they made me feel like I was part of a family, which made the job even more enjoyable and rewarding.

Cons

Working the graveyard shift can significantly affect a person's sleep schedule and overall sleep quality.

Pros

They take good care of the office people

Cons

Field workers are second hand citizens. Nepotism by language. Promote people that don't have the skill sets to do the job. The people that have the common sense to be leadership at this point don't want the responsibility anymore. What does that say?
