Pros

- Flexible schedule -Pleasant property to work at with locked entrances and security - Nice extras from time to time - Friendly residents

Cons

- Sense of disconnection between management and employees. - Management will talk trash behind your back for the most trivial issues instead of communicating properly to solve the issues - Employees are blocked from IMPORTANT information (e.g. My coworkers getting tested positive for Covid and my managers keeping the information to themselves) - Managers are basically control freaks - Big corporate company but if you are not a Manager you kind of feel left out. Around 25 employees in total, so very small team on property. -MARKSMAN SECURITY is a probably the worst security company - The pay is honestly below average and any prospect of a raise was always shut down by management by saying they never had money - Any extra tip money or incentive given to us by residents was sometimes kept/distributed unequally by the management team

Pros

At the time, I was working overnight at a condominium, and the quiet environment gave me the opportunity to focus on my schoolwork since there was very little activity throughout the building. The team I worked with was incredible, they made me feel like I was part of a family, which made the job even more enjoyable and rewarding.

Cons

Working the graveyard shift can significantly affect a person's sleep schedule and overall sleep quality.

Pros

Great company culture with strong core values and a collaborative environment. As a remote employee, the flexibility and work-life balance are a huge plus. The IT environment is also very dynamic — there are multiple systems, platforms, and technologies in use, so the work rarely feels repetitive or boring. The company is supportive of employee growth and development, offering training opportunities and access to a large online learning library. Another positive sign is the number of long-term employees; many people have been with the company for 5+ years, which says a lot about overall employee satisfaction and stability.

Cons

The company frequently changes business processes and technologies. While innovation is good, it can sometimes feel like just when you’ve fully mastered a system or workflow, a new tool or process is introduced. Workload can also fluctuate depending on business initiatives and project demands. Because it’s a large organization, there are a lot of layers of leadership — supervisors, managers, directors, VPs, etc. At times, it can be unclear who the correct point of contact or decision-maker is for certain situations.
