Pros
It's a great first job or a great opportunity if you are looking to change careers. I enjoyed my time working at the company. It was a great opportunity to work with amazing people and develop my skills. I got to work with two inspiring leaders within the energy subsidiary and marketing department. They taught me a lot and I am forever thankful to have role models like them. Hard work did lead to growth in my case.
Cons
1. Limited growth opportunities. I got a promotion during my time, but it took blood, sweat, and tears to get this promotion. My supervisors took too long with this process and ultimately it led me to look elsewhere. 2. Lower salaries than their competitors/ other industries. 3. If you're great at your job, they will give you an endless to-do list of tasks. You will take on responsibilities that are not meant for your role. You become the go-to person and are at risk of burnout.
