Pros
Fiserv is a financially fit company that seems poised to survive the current economic storm. Overall a good company to work for, but is not the same company I started with.
Cons
The work place culture has changed. It seems more focused on the bottom line which is good in some ways but when you start to nickle and dime your way through business then you lose the most valuable minds. One of my biggest gripes is how the benefits and perks seem to disapear daily. When I first started we had this thing called People Make the Difference week. During that week senior management came in during the 3rd shift and bought juice, coffee and doughnuts down to the 3rd shift employees, Slowly these things disappeared. Last year they called it Fiserv Make the Difference week, Not only is it grammatically incorrect but just plain rude. They took the PEOPLE out of people make the difference week. Senior management ate a lot of crow on that one. Also the taking away of sabbaticals with a post dated email. We got the email around Jan 1st saying effective last month sabbaticals were gone. Lots of people including my self had made plans that had to be changed because of this arbitrary change.
