Long hours (50 hour weeks), no transferable skills being learned, no career advancement within company, very strict culture, old-boys network environment. You do not learn anything about finance or the markets - it is either sales or operations (process work). They have a policy of not giving recommendations for later jobs/school. You will have to go behind back of company if you are pursuing school or any other education. High employee turnover, low morale, tough work/life balance. As someone said, you have to use PTO to go to the dentist for an hour. Basically a pyramid scheme with those at the top making all the money and those at the bottom struggling.
