Pros

Meet lots of new people, fast paced, passionate fitness colleagues, free membership

Cons

Low pay, promises to increase pay/promotions never materialized, minimal and often confusing directions from corporate office, managers had constantly changing expectations for staff and was quick to punish, no HR for employees, underpaid experienced and talented employees in all departments, inflexible scheduling, majority of work fell on a few dependable employees while top managers socialized and relaxed in closed office at back, female employees were often penalized for unimportant things while male employees were rarely reprimanded for slacking off/breaking company rules, corporate and facilities managers actively silenced and fired employees who speak up about sexual harassment, managers focused on sales numbers and customer satisfaction ratings rather than urgent issues in the facilities, managers often abused their positions most because there was zero oversight

Pros

Working here has been an incredible journey of growth and development. This company fosters a small, close-knit, family-like environment where everyone supports one another. Leadership is understanding and genuinely cares about their employees, which creates an amazing work-life balance that’s hard to find elsewhere. I’ve had the opportunity to grow within the company, both personally and professionally, and I feel valued for my contributions. It’s a workplace where hard work is recognized, and the people truly make it a place you want to stay long-term. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Cons

In a close-knit environment, work can sometimes feel overwhelming if someone is out or if workloads increase unexpectedly.
