Pros

I am really excited by the new leadership and the direction Flatirons is headed. The new CEO is taking the company through a major transformational change where the focus is being put where it belongs (on the employees and customers) and is refocusing the company on its core competency - Aerospace Solutions. As a result Flatirons is becoming an even stronger and more respected company in the niche that they serve. If you are someone that has initiative, wants to make an impact, are an entrepreneur and have a ownership mentality then you will do well here.

Cons

Leaving Flatirons after 13 years was a difficult decision for me. Flatirons gave me opportunities for advancement and growth that I am not sure I would have had otherwise. As with any growing company Flatirons has gone through its share of growing pains and as they refocus I am sure they will go through a few more, but in the end I see that as a good thing.
