Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We never want anyone to feel mislead; in fact, that is why quota and onboarding expectations are discussed in the interview and offer process. We encourage you to use your weekly 1:1 with your manager to discuss any concerns and to also ask for support where you may need it. We also strive to keep a healthy work-life balance. If you wish to share any concerns with our Director of People Ops, that is an option as well.

Pros

Very functional scale-up. We are well-resourced in regards to the tech stack and my team is given quite a bit of autonomy to execute our tasks. The role is flexible and duties challenging but reasonable. Great company culture, good cross-team collab happens all the time.

Cons

Sometimes Product iterates so fast that new features get launched before we're made aware of it or trained on them. It's a "good" problem to have I suppose, all things considered. Just inconvenient and awkward when the customer asks about it on a live call and we have no idea what they're talking about.

Pros

I loved my team. Remote work was convenient and led to hiring great talent. It felt like we were working on a product that genuinely helped people do their jobs better.

Cons

I wasn’t going to write a review until I saw that other reviewer implying that the people leaving or being laid off were simply unable to cope with change or had poor work ethics. That is patently false. The leadership brought in by investors shifted Fleetio from a people-first/customers-first company into a profit-at-any-cost, buzzword-tossing, hype machine. Product thinking has devolved from “What can we improve to help our customers?” to “What can we do to win [Large Potential Customer]?” You will not have project stability. You will be doing the workload equivalent of 3-5 roles. You will be told the reason you feel underwater is because you aren’t using AI correctly. You will then be told to stop using AI so much because it’s too expensive. You will be told that the company is in a solid place financially. You will then be told that people had to be laid off as they tout record numbers and a NASCAR sponsorship. People are leaving because their trust in the company’s leadership is broken and they’re worn out with the constant firings, lay offs, and goalpost shifting.
