There are a number of bright people who work here, but they have stayed so long and kept their opinions to themselves in order to be a team player that they are now part of the problem. Many of them have worked at Flex for decades and they will probably stay there unless they are forced to leave by getting laid off. People move up when managers retire so that is how most of the system works. They are reluctant to bring someone from the outside when someone inside has worked their way up the ladder for decades. So they are a reactionary environment.
