Pros

Innovative ideas, seem to have an overall plan.

Cons

Lack in integration of aquisitions, too much controlled by upper management. Even there is this "Reimagining software is bough. sold,..." slogan, I cannot see an overall strategy, a vision, what does Flexera stand for ? Nobody really knows Flexera. No brand. All solution areas are isolated silos in reality. Micromanagement is key. Key focused is asset management, new solutions lack in support & integration. And with any new aquisition it gets worser and all what happens is some integration into their "asset management" portfolio, which is great, but thats it already.

Pros

I am part of an amazing team at Flexera and I love what I do! The peace of mind and flexibility the company offers, I have not seen it anywhere else! I am valued and empowered in the work I do and my contributions I bring to the table.

Cons

Lack of training programs, mentoring, or clear pathways for internal promotion.

Pros

Good remote working options are available

Cons

Direct leadership frequently used 1:1 meetings to discuss personal matters rather than tracking project timelines, yet would later blame subordinates when timelines slipped. It was an incredibly uncomfortable environment where it felt impossible to succeed. Good ideas would be implemented and well-received by others, but direct management would find something negative to focus on, like claiming it took too long Communication from direct management was passive-aggressive and often crossed professional boundaries. The language used in team settings was frequently inappropriate, including the use of highly offensive, derogatory language disguised as jokes. I was uncomfortable most of the time I worked there.
