Pros

-Great flexibility in work schedule. I frequently run errands during the day and fill the gaps by working early or late. Management is very supportive of this. -Great career advancement opportunities. Many people advance relatively quickly through the career ladder. -Leadership gives you autonomy. I've been given free rein to do what I think is best in my role. You are treated as the expert in your role and given the power to make the best decisions for the business. -Flexera strongly supports remote work. Most of the C-Suite is based remotely, this gives me confidence as a remote employee that I will advance in the organization without moving to a physical office.

Cons

Being a global company means that you may end up taking a late meeting here and there, Flexera has balanced this by having a great flexible work policy though.

Agree that while we all need to take an off-schedule meeting, we do stress work/life balance and practice geographic/time zone inclusion, so it's balanced across geographies.

Pros

I am part of an amazing team at Flexera and I love what I do! The peace of mind and flexibility the company offers, I have not seen it anywhere else! I am valued and empowered in the work I do and my contributions I bring to the table.

Cons

Lack of training programs, mentoring, or clear pathways for internal promotion.

Pros

Good remote working options are available

Cons

Direct leadership frequently used 1:1 meetings to discuss personal matters rather than tracking project timelines, yet would later blame subordinates when timelines slipped. It was an incredibly uncomfortable environment where it felt impossible to succeed. Good ideas would be implemented and well-received by others, but direct management would find something negative to focus on, like claiming it took too long Communication from direct management was passive-aggressive and often crossed professional boundaries. The language used in team settings was frequently inappropriate, including the use of highly offensive, derogatory language disguised as jokes. I was uncomfortable most of the time I worked there.
