Pros

Really great group of people from the midwest. Everyone is there to help each other as a team and as a family. Lots of flexibility for time off since it is unlimited and even have days where there will be no meetings allowed. Very happy with working at Flexera.

Cons

Not a lot of cons to be honest, but I would say the opportunity to increase your pay is fairly low. It seems to be only about 3% year over year, so it makes it hard to stay loyal. I have also noticed the majority of the company is white and I don't really see a lot of diversity in terms of the race at the company. The company isn't against it by any means, but I just haven't noticed much of it.

Thank you for your feedback. We strive to provide great benefits including unlimited PTO, wellness credit, student loan repayment assistance, tuition reimbursement, 401k plans, a large selection of healthcare plan, and parental leave, just to name a few. Furthermore, we are actively working on increasing the racial diversity of Flexera. In 2023 we have launched a BIPOC ERG, Diversity Ambassador program, and a diversity focused Internship program. We will continue to work toward creating an employee base that matches the diverse world in which we do business.

Pros

I am part of an amazing team at Flexera and I love what I do! The peace of mind and flexibility the company offers, I have not seen it anywhere else! I am valued and empowered in the work I do and my contributions I bring to the table.

Cons

Lack of training programs, mentoring, or clear pathways for internal promotion.

Pros

Good remote working options are available

Cons

Direct leadership frequently used 1:1 meetings to discuss personal matters rather than tracking project timelines, yet would later blame subordinates when timelines slipped. It was an incredibly uncomfortable environment where it felt impossible to succeed. Good ideas would be implemented and well-received by others, but direct management would find something negative to focus on, like claiming it took too long Communication from direct management was passive-aggressive and often crossed professional boundaries. The language used in team settings was frequently inappropriate, including the use of highly offensive, derogatory language disguised as jokes. I was uncomfortable most of the time I worked there.
