Pros

Some people are nice, that's about it

Cons

Laid off a bunch of people around Covid time, froze hiring/promotions/bonuses, yet paid bonuses for managers and promoted them. Constant reshuffling of people No one has any real vision They treat people like numbers Managers on top of managers on top of managers. There are dozens that don't do anything, but somehow don't get laid off.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. COVID did impact a small proportion of employees, as it did for most companies globally. Regarding bonuses - anyone entitled to a bonus was paid regardless of the level of Management. We also quickly reinstated promotions and hiring key roles. In terms of Management tiers, we have no more than 4-5 layers from CEO to frontline team members on average. We are proud of Flexera and aren't trying to be ServiceNow. ServiceNow is a great company, and so are we. Finally, we have made significant changes to our Senior leadership team over the past two years, and we are committed to changing and evolving based on changes in technology and the market. We would love any insight on where we may be unaware regarding specific Managers. Feel free to reach out via email to anyone on the People team to help us understand more. Wishing you all the best at your next engagement.

Pros

I am part of an amazing team at Flexera and I love what I do! The peace of mind and flexibility the company offers, I have not seen it anywhere else! I am valued and empowered in the work I do and my contributions I bring to the table.

Cons

Lack of training programs, mentoring, or clear pathways for internal promotion.

Pros

Good remote working options are available

Cons

Direct leadership frequently used 1:1 meetings to discuss personal matters rather than tracking project timelines, yet would later blame subordinates when timelines slipped. It was an incredibly uncomfortable environment where it felt impossible to succeed. Good ideas would be implemented and well-received by others, but direct management would find something negative to focus on, like claiming it took too long Communication from direct management was passive-aggressive and often crossed professional boundaries. The language used in team settings was frequently inappropriate, including the use of highly offensive, derogatory language disguised as jokes. I was uncomfortable most of the time I worked there.
