Pros

Remote work, benefits retained from Snow acquisition

Cons

Direct orders to focus only on increasing ARR and never on tech. Chaotic stack, each team builds its own infrastructures and tooling, no architectural consistency. Discontinuation of a great product (killed by acquisition) in favour of an original, legacy platform.

I am sorry to hear how disappointed you are. Acquisitions always put us in a position to make difficult decisions regarding the future of our product and how we think about integrating solutions. Yes, we are a highly profitable company, and yes, we do focus on ARR and growth - it's in our DNA. We are also highly committed to building great technology and retaining great talent. I will share your views with our CPO and CTO, who have shared a compelling product roadmap, including consistency in structure and process. Hopefully, you can view our KO opening session, during which the vision and strategy were shared. Thank you for the feedback, and I hope 2025 will help address some of your concerns.

Pros

I am part of an amazing team at Flexera and I love what I do! The peace of mind and flexibility the company offers, I have not seen it anywhere else! I am valued and empowered in the work I do and my contributions I bring to the table.

Cons

Lack of training programs, mentoring, or clear pathways for internal promotion.

Pros

Good remote working options are available

Cons

Direct leadership frequently used 1:1 meetings to discuss personal matters rather than tracking project timelines, yet would later blame subordinates when timelines slipped. It was an incredibly uncomfortable environment where it felt impossible to succeed. Good ideas would be implemented and well-received by others, but direct management would find something negative to focus on, like claiming it took too long Communication from direct management was passive-aggressive and often crossed professional boundaries. The language used in team settings was frequently inappropriate, including the use of highly offensive, derogatory language disguised as jokes. I was uncomfortable most of the time I worked there.
