Pros

Good people who are knowledgeable and friendly.

Cons

Company's sole focus is on Sales. Making sales paid my salary, but I was always uncomfortable with the lack of technical focus for the products. More concerned with billables than skill advancement. Learning has to occur off hours. Everyone there works very hard, and they can be successful as a company and provide good products and service to clients. I'm just concerned about how long they can continue with the current vision. Buying companies and absorbing their tech is how advancement was happening. A good company because of the people, however.

Pros

I am part of an amazing team at Flexera and I love what I do! The peace of mind and flexibility the company offers, I have not seen it anywhere else! I am valued and empowered in the work I do and my contributions I bring to the table.

Direct leadership frequently used 1:1 meetings to discuss personal matters rather than tracking project timelines, yet would later blame subordinates when timelines slipped. It was an incredibly uncomfortable environment where it felt impossible to succeed. Good ideas would be implemented and well-received by others, but direct management would find something negative to focus on, like claiming it took too long Communication from direct management was passive-aggressive and often crossed professional boundaries. The language used in team settings was frequently inappropriate, including the use of highly offensive, derogatory language disguised as jokes. I was uncomfortable most of the time I worked there.
