Flexport's approach to the industry defers from all freight forwarders I worked for in the past 20+ years. Flexport positions itself as the "data freight forwarder" which basically means that it uses technology to make the transportation process for a shipper a smooth and transparent one. In addition to the platform, Flexport's squad concept regarding customer service sets us apart from a very "siloed" approach at other companies. It enables for centralization of the information and, therefore, a better management of it. Flexport's management is very involved, open to suggestions, new ideas. Flexport is a very dynamic, open company which creates a fantastic work environment.
Cons
Its global network is not yet well established but seeing what it is after just 6 years of existence, the odds for a continued growth and expansion are in our favor!!
