Pros
-Beautiful campus -Opportunities to collaborate with other departments -Interesting research culture -Good health benefits -For the most part, great student population that works hard (what college doesn't have exceptions?)
Cons
-Few promotional opportunities - administration will praise me verbally for my excellent work but when I ask for compensation to match that quality there always seems to be a reason not to (promotion wait times are 5-7 years, budget cuts, etc.) -Campus can feel a bit siloed at times
