Business Outlook
Pros
Excellent benefits package (generous retirement and vacation policies, especially). Very nice facility to work in with most employees having their own office. Feel good about the work we do in that it enhances educational opportunities for students at the university.
Cons
No clear career path for advancing in the organization. Someone has to leave for you to get a promotion, though it seemed upper management found ways to promote the people they liked best (regardless of job performance). Location is somewhat incovenient to get to. Often feel like your ideas and opinions are not listened to by upper management. Everyone just seems interested in keeping their job.
