      Pros

      Serving as a teaching assistant was an excellent experience, serving as affirmation of concepts learned as an undergraduate student. I liked how the teaching assistant duties did not seem to get in the way of my graduate research and my course work.

      Cons

      Very few complaints here. Graduate school is a personal investment in your future. You have to be prepared for the commitment and sacrifices.
