Pros

Price, location, School is famous for being National Champions. There are many opportunities for funding as well, either at the graduate or undergraduate level. There are a lot of resources available to students. There are also a lot of networking opportunities

Cons

There is a problem with communication, especially at such a big school. You have to look for and be aware of on your own. The school is very supportive of the football team which is bad only because a lot of things on campus revolve around the football schedule so the library will be closed on game days

Pros

Great benefits, excellent retirement options, generous leave, and strong job stability. The campus environment is welcoming, and there are opportunities for professional development and continuing education. The work is meaningful, and many departments foster a collaborative atmosphere with a good work-life balance.

Cons

Salaries can be lower than comparable positions in the private sector, and hiring, promotions, and other administrative processes can move slowly due to university policies. Budget constraints may affect raises and staffing, and parking can be challenging depending on your work location.
