Pros
- Massive career growth upside (if you're willing to put the work in - have to earn it). I started at Flywheel with 0 eCommerce experience and left the business as an Amazon leader for some of the top brands across North America. Plenty of opportunity to advance your career. - The people, culture are truly something special. I left the company with some lifelong friends - that doesn't happen everywhere! Highly recommend working in-office if possible - great experience! - Real, unlimited PTO. Upon starting, I was concerned this policy would backfire and, because there aren't a set number of days, people wouldn't take time off. Flywheel does a good job making sure everyone is taking full advantage of unlimited PTO and feeling like you can totally unplug while doing so. - Health benefits are top-tier. - Competitive salaries. - Couldn't recommend this company more for someone just starting their career in business and is highly-driven.
Cons
Not a con, but the nature of the job (customer service / agency) combined with the nature of the industry (eCommerce - high growth) means that Flywheel has been, still is, and will continue to be moving at a very fast pace. Through no fault of their own, the leadership team is constantly changing, reworking, and optimizing internal structures and procedures to ensure they're staying ahead the pack. As a result, things move very quickly and there is constant change. If you want to make a name for yourself and succeed at Flywheel, you need to be ready to adapt, put in a lot of work & effort, and adapt some more. If you're willing to put the time in to learn and be proactive, you will fit perfectly in this high-growth environment.
