- Friendly, supportive corporate and support teams - Generous PTO package including Summer Incentive Hours - Generous housing package for CMs ..generous being Free! - Generally, policies are team member centered (I.e. budget to keep back of house fridge stocked for team members) - Mark Fogelman wishes his team members a Happy Birthday. *Personally and without the use of a template - Strong Regional Service (maintenance) team always willing to go out of their way to help
Cons
- I had a green Regional Manager who was promoted to the role after winning a popularity contest, not as a result of qualification or mastering industry knowledge. Fogelman did not provide any title-specific training or oversight, when releasing someone to such a crucial role - Small, “mom and pop” feel, including their standard operating procedures. CM is the highest you will go unless you are lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time every decade or unless there is a client-specific request! - Nearly nonexistent bonus potential for Lease-Up Managers - The HR/Payroll departments are conflated (same person) which is a HUGE conflict of interest - In my experience, Fogelman proved unable to stand up for their on site teams and instead, allowed a client(s) to manage them! - Government intervention was needed to collect final compensation ..me being one of three that I’m aware of! In my opinion this was the direct result of the HR/payroll departments being conflated.
