Pros
Potential revenue is more than competitive, although through lack of equipment and support staff accountability good luck realizing that revenue.
Cons
Management favorite phrase is manager your managers, which is just an insulation technique to avoid any accountability from upper management who has no oversight or knowledge of what mid-level management is doing. My personal breaking point was bringing in an annual deal that would've been worth $1.1 million annually and would have immediately been the departments fifth largest customer. New equipment would have been required, so I couldn't get a call back from management for nearly eight months in order to get the ball rolling. While two weeks after that I received nine phone calls and text messages about an $1800 boom lift that had been moved from another project to the 69 Hwy project. Management was more concerned with the optics of an $1800 deal than they were about putting together a potential million dollar deal. Between this and protecting people's territories while they fake CRMs and run business into the ground, from actual aggressive salespeople that want to drive revenue and profits.
