Pros

Decent on site gym Decent benefits Good people that work there below executive level

Cons

If you would like to work in a toxic environment, where you will be overlooked, underpaid, and undervalued, look no further. Micromanagement from the executive team will make your job very difficult. They don't trust any of their employees to actually do the job they hired them for, and would rather tell you how they want you to do your job instead. And be prepared to take every bit of the blame for project hold ups due to this micromanagement. You will be constantly told how bad you are at your job, and then told you need more product training in order to do your job better. This product training hasn't changed in years, so when that doesn't show any improvement in your performance you'll be asked to come in early to attend meetings that are "vital" to your work performance and then expected to stay late to prove you're working hard enough. The executive involvement depends on daily selling trends. Which cause panic on a day to day basis. Important projects and assignments will be tossed to the side in order to fix the down trending sales, although deadlines and expectations on previously high ticket items will not budge and may also be expected to be completed sooner. HR is rarely available and will not take any of your issues seriously. They would rather make you out to be the bad guy rather than actually work to improve employee health or safety. They follow none of the guidelines they put in place, and if you're well liked by them you can pretty much get away with anything. If you are disliked, be prepared to be ignored or glared at on a daily basis. The company keeps adding small "perks" like a few extra holidays, to keep their employees happy enough to stay. But don't worry, all the stress is totally worth the ham or turkey you'll get at Christmas. This place thrives on calling itself a "family" which is right on the money if your family is highly dysfunctional. When people leave, they would rather think that people just "don't fit in with the culture" rather than actually realizing there is a problem with the culture itself. Don't expect to ever get a promotion, and if you do, it will not come with any financial compensation. This company leaves no room to grow. And while they pride themselves on internal promotion, you are more likely to be given more responsibility with no promotion or pay raise in sight. If you're desperate for a job, this might be the perfect place for you, just don't let the door close behind you. Even moreso if you're a woman, LGBTQIA+ individual, or are BIPOC. As there will be even fewer opportunities here for you.

Pros

Love the product we make, closeness with other employees, new HR team is much better with communication and working towards boosting morale! Holiday lunches, good amount of paid holidays off, option for free insurance if you do the workout program.

Cons

No clear (or realistic) vision or expectations from leadership, causing confusion and poor decision making that effects every aspect of the company.
