Pros
Whether it's the people, work, level of trust, or product, pretty much everything is awesome. I've worked at much larger companies and a smaller company, and never have I been so excited to come into work. We're constantly pushing the boundaries of 3D printing, and the growth of the company and market is awesome to watch. Everyone is incredibly educated, and even non-technical team members know more about 3D printing than most customers we work with. The company has a rich history and clear vision. There are no slow days. You have the freedom and support to continually improve yourself through classes, certifications, etc. I can't recommend working here enough. Also, dogs, side projects, a plethora of activities, and an arcade make the office a place you want to be. I never though i'd be waking up at 7 and heading into work early, but Formlabs has made work amazing.
Cons
The pay is what you'd expect from a startup, which is off putting for some people. Some people may view the expected work commitment as a negative. You're expected to work until you finish what you need to, and that occasionally means putting in more than 9 hours a day. If you don't like working, Formlabs isn't the place for you. If you have allergies to dogs, you may not be a fan of dogs in the office.
