Pros
Formlabs has amazing culture and attitude! Teams are constantly trying to improve and are always open to suggestions. Communication is really fantastic between teams as well. There's a bit of a learning curve when joining up, but everyone is very welcoming and always willing to answer questions. The absolute best part about working here is that they trust you. You can work from home, you can cloister yourself in a conference room all day, you can use whatever setup you need to get your work done. If you want more projects or other responsibilities, they're totally on board with that too, and will help you achieve your goals. Trust + tons of provided food/snacks + awesome people + 3D printers everywhere = dream job
Cons
I've had one issue (possibly two) with management since starting here, and both instances were more about managers pushing for an ideal goal rather than a feasible one. They're usually open to feedback though. The pay is a little rough for the Boston area as well, but we are a start up and the benefits help offset this. Dual incomes for couples, or roommates are necessary.
