It's a lot of politics and if you're not part of the insider group you will be left out. All the best sales leaders I worked with at the company left and moved on because of poor product advancentments. The analysts want to write about their own personal viewpoints and don't feel the need to align with the sales/account teams to truly understand what the clients are looking for from them. The thought leadership products are very strong but as a salesperson, you don't earn much commission from them. Account exec to account manager transition was often times messy as the exec team did not properly explain what the membership entailed.
