Pros
Amazing colleagues and learning a lot from the exposure to our Clients & Research. My management team rocks despite the additional hats they've been asked to wear without the pay to match. I hope they don't quit.
Cons
I came to Forrester for the culture, growth opportunities and work life balance. As you can see from the other reviews, all of those areas have greatly suffered over the last year. I'm too exhausted to even properly elaborate - This role has sucked the life out of me in such a short amount of time. Our current systems are too rigid to ever deliver on our "customer obsessed" model and any solutions implemented leech off the bandwidth of our already overworked teams. The recent layoffs have left client facing and internal teams scattered and trying to pick up the pieces, while we have to pretend everything is business as usual. I keep waiting for the "Energy" and "Collaboration" to increase our CV, but turns out, those might not have anything to do with a successful strategy. How is it that we have such amazing analysts and research and yet this company feels so misguided? If we took half the advice we give our clients, we'd be lightyears ahead of where we are now. Tech Stack? Archaic. Content Management? Siloed and Scattered. Enablement? 1 Person. Employee Experience? Wish I could say there was even a pizza party. The price increase due to inflation is actually comical considering our pay has been stagnant for months and we are all actively taking pay cuts to continue working here. I am patiently awaiting the end of Q3 when we still haven't hit our numbers and we do another round of "unexpected" layoffs. As it stands, I wouldn't let my friends work here.
