Pros
People - The most passionate and mission driven group of people I ever worked with. No politicking or egos flying around. Everybody is an owner and is empowered to effect change. Culture - During one of my recent 1:1s with the CEO/founder (yes, he has 1:1s with everyone at the company) he said - 'do you know what our secret sauce is?' I replied 'mission?!' (arguably Forward is the most mission driven company I've ever worked for), and he said 'no, it's you, it's the people. I don't care about the problem you solve today as much as I care about what you are learning and how you will grow to solve bigger problems better'. That is Forward culture in a nutshell. Heavy emphasis on enabling the employees to own the mission, and giving them space to explore and grow. Product - If you are like me, and want to spend your 50hrs per week maximizing your impact to humanity, then Forward is one of the best places to work for. It doesn't get even more fundamental than healthcare. You are guaranteed to go to bed with a smile on your face (on most days).
Cons
Pet friendly offices - I'd love if the office allowed pets. Especially with work from home due to COVID, the pets are getting used to having their owners around all the time, and I'm worried that they would get depressed after the offices open up.
