Pros

-Seeing the confidence in all my swimmers grow, no matter the age -Building bonds with families that have extended over the years -Building lasting friendships

Cons

You can burn out easy with the amount of time spent in water and the enthusiasm always has to be at a 12 which can be a little tiring too. You definitely have changes in hair and skin that aren't the best, like breakouts or just hair thinning or losing hair over time. Upper management is not consistent with the things they say and how they respond to situations depending on the person. They tend to promote people who are not ready and even have had their own SC's tell them they don't think their DA is ready and it is completely ignored. If management doesn't like you, then you aren't moving up in the company. They will say 100 times over you're doing great and when it's time for evaluations and potential of growing they will then present an entire laundry list of things you supposedly did wrong even after meeting with them countless of times. I know many people who have left only because of management and how they were treated by them.

Pros

Gives you space to really develop yourself skills if this is something you want to do.

Cons

It has become corporate and money driven. The bottom line is becoming more important than families. Things feel chaotic and corporate doesn’t communicate well. Management is constantly over worked and underplayed. There is no way to accomplish all of the new mandates corporate has implemented in the last few years
