Pros

There are bonuses available to those who focus on reaching & maintaining the company’s requirements. Opportunities to move up are appreciated. Overtime available if you dare. There’s camaraderie in feeling dread & anger over the bad training & coworkers are generally supportive when you have a nasty call.

Cons

Waste of time training involving mini tests & modules that don’t prepare you for live calls. By the time you have a general idea of all their regulatory compliance obligations, services & expectations they still won’t allow trainees to operate even a mock version of the actual operating system needed to handle calls. Their employee guide database (Knowledge Central) training is a joke- considering that you are required to utilize KC for EVERY step during EVERY call, they do not train you on how to effectively get to the proper step by step article. For example, adding a spouse as a joint owner requires several articles which is nerve wracking when you only find the articles using insider lingo rather than an intuitive search like “creating a joint account.” The lack of KC training is only made worse by the practice of denying you access to the actual operating system until you take your first live call! There are mentors to help you find the correct articles/solutions to calls FOR YOUR FIRST WEEK ONLY (should be for 3 weeks) to make up for the lack of KC training. The training is also inadequate when you get different answers from different people. A sink or swim environment that doesn’t care about their members otherwise they would prioritize training employees for long term success. Foundever instead appears to factor in their incredibly high turnover. My training class started with 24 people and we are down to around 11 people in less than 2 months. People leave as soon as they find another job. Their security rules are ridiculous but understandable. Still, if they didn’t have such a high rate of firings & resignations they wouldn’t have to hire so much so easily just to see who sinks or swims. People with great personalities & discipline end up leaving because you can get fired at any point for something that can have been easily mitigated through proper training. Some of the coaches treat you as if they are an overseer rather than a mentor. You will have to login almost 10-15 minutes early just to be able to clock in on time— their timestamp operating system can only be accessed once the computer system finally loads rather than it being accessible once you login to the computer. I was told I should come in an hour early to practice navigating the KC guide on my own! Something we should have done in training. There are bonuses available to those who focus on reaching & maintaining the company’s requirements. Opportunities to move up are appreciated. No paid holidays. Overtime available if you dare.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
