Pros

Office will look great after remodel with a snack room. There is a lot of working between departments depending on your role. Good work life balance which is encouraged & appreciate the benefits the company has like the employee purchase program! Casual office wear.

Cons

There is still a lot of growth which is good but there aren't processes in place for everything which can be hard to navigate depending on your manager. Working from home depends on your manager.

Thank you for sharing some notes on your experience as a Four Hands employee! We're excited about the remodel as well and look forward to seeing the impact that it has on our teams and our employee experience. We are also happy to hear that our promotion of work-life balance and the benefits we offer are also a bright spot for you. We agree that rapid growth presents unique challenges. It is exciting to be a part of a growing business but it does have an impact on processes and scaling. We look forward to delving into your comments about improving our processes so that the experience is consistent across all teams, regardless of a specific manager. Thanks for sharing! Pros

The culture is one of the biggest positives. It's a pretty casual environment where people are approachable, and it's easy to strike up conversations or collaborate across teams. I've also felt that my compensation and benefits are fair for the market, especially compared to other organizations I've worked for. The employee purchase program is a great perk if you like our products, and it's one of those benefits I actually use. In my role, I've also had the chance to work with leaders across a lot of different parts of the business, which has helped me understand how everything fits together and kept the work interesting. I've been here a little over a year now, and overall I'm really happy with my decision to join.

Cons

The company is experiencing significant growth, and with that comes a lot of positive change as teams evolve and processes mature. At times, the pace of change can be challenging to navigate, especially as departments work to break down silos and redefine how they collaborate. Continued focus on change management, clear communication, and helping employees prioritize work to prevent burnout would make the transition even smoother.

Pros

* The work was relatively easy and not overly challenging * There was a decent work-life balance.

Cons

The biggest con and reason I ultimately left was because I experienced and witnessed multiple situations involving discrimination and harassment that were extremely disappointing. * The company does not have a strong HR structure or an independent way to report concerns. If you want to raise an issue, you are essentially required to go through your manager. * When I brought up concerns with my manager, I did not feel supported. Instead, I was told I wasn’t a good culture fit, and my concerns were dismissed. The response made me feel like protecting the existing culture was prioritized over addressing the behavior. *Ultimately this destroyed my relationship with my manager and I lost any potential to advance in my career because of it. * I also witnessed concerning patterns around hiring decisions that made me question how committed the company was to building a truly inclusive workplace.
