Pros

Looks good on a resume

Cons

The current management at this Los Colinas location is the most demeaning and toxic it's ever been. This is not a Four Seasons anymore. Physically the brand is pulling away from the resort Jan 2023 - which is the largest red flag ever! Even the founder came to visit this location and is selectively pulling the brand out. But also, the current managers that have been hired during this pandemic are not typical Four Seasons leaders. They are hiring anyone with a pulse. They have zero empathy, they don't give you the supplies to do your job, they don't give you next weeks schedule until Saturday and they blame everything on the employees who give direct service. Clinical narcissistic behaviors! The Chefs are angry and have physically pushed severs. They will make an entire new menu for a holiday and not give you any notes on it. A few times we have opened our doors on major holidays and the Chef's didn't even have the food prepped. Literally the servers had to greet tables with a brand new menu where they haven't even seen the food yet. And it's still always the servers fault. The restaurant managers blame everything on you as a server. They don't provide you with any supplies. They are constantly short on EVERYTHING! They will lie about you to upper management. They will threaten you and then deny and say it never happened. Literally the most toxic work environment I've ever worked in my entire life. I feared for my safety at times with certain managers. And nothing is ever resolved. And don't even think of going to HR for anything. They are only there to protect the company. Zero empath. Will treat you like a dirty cockroach if you aren't fully jabbed. We literally had people falling at work, foaming at the mouth, and full body convulsing; all while being carried out on an ambulance. And still HR will send out multiple emails a week telling everyone to get fully jabbed so we don't spread sickness to the guests. Every email about the boosters or jab were always about making sure we don't get the guests sick. Like we are some vectorous disease carrying vile peasants. Do not work here! The brand is leaving at the end of the year. It's a sinking ship and everyone has their life jackets on. It's every employee for themselves. The only solution I have for you if you are a current employee is document everything and go to ethic dot fourseasons dot com.

Pros

Very friendly staff. Straightforward job with good pay. Overall an enjoyable job.

Cons

Inconsistent hours. Burnout can occur if you're looking for something easy. Other than that its pretty much exactly what you'd expect. Good job to have.

Pros

Free nights Lots of paid sick time (use it; trust me, everyone uses it as extra vacation, and it fully replenishes every year) Paid holidays Good benefits

Cons

Communication is terrible; act first, communicate later. Constant shifting goalposts; it seems like, before we can nail down one new kpi or project, an exec got bored and created a new one. The brand seems to have lost its roots since the founder left. If you are in FnB, you enjoy schedule flexibility, not here. If you are full-time, you will always work 40 hours unless you use vacation, and hotels are exhausting. Trading shifts is not a thing. There's no technical training. There's a lot of mandatory training, but it only covers work culture topics. Your direct manager will rarly be available since they seem to be in a meeting every hour of the day.
