In my three years, I felt like everyone was trained to feel alienated and have a chip on there. Higher up managers would often refuse to hear and take their associates matters seriously. With the way there policies are lined and coverage are staffed, I would often find myself getting routinely berated by customers and nearly assaulted on a few occasions. I didn't much care for the work environment, you could tell the higher ups didn't want to be there, cared more about their benefits, would often disappear.
