Truly industry leading technology, solutions, and implementations. FreedomPay provides a full range of technology/solutions from embedded programs on devices, SDK's, custom integrations, web services, proxies, all the way to state of the art web applications and mobile components. Mostly Microsoft stack, but includes C, C++, Android and iOS development. Latest Visual Studio, .Net, SQL versions. Cool continuous integration movement, heavy investment in automated testing with custom frameworks and various tools. Many folks will work directly with the many Fortune 100 clients and their engineers on many complex integrations and solution challenges. Over the last 2-3 years the management has changed for the better, culture has changed, company has doubled in size, and the teams are very collaborative, with top talent. The company's growth is crazy and will continue as it expands throughout the U.S. and internationally. FreedomPay is careful with who they hire to ensure a strong entrepreneur type culture, talented teammates, and a strong aptitude fit. While it's hard work (always more work than we can do) it's very rewarding. Pay is well above average including a commission sharing pool, incentives, catered lunches, giveaways, etc. Benefits are strong, two health plans to choose from, one with a low deductible and an HSA plan with company contributions. Company is investing heavily into moving to a premier office building in downtown Philly with tons of perks. Company has a great business plan with partner reselling, sticky integrations, and always expanding the service offerings. FreedomPay is crushing the competition.
Cons
With strong growth comes growing pains. This includes process changes, organization build out with role clarity changes, communication streamlining, etc. Fast paced high energy environment may not work for everyone. Always more work than can do in a day, but this is a good problem to have. Most folks put in 45-50 hours consistently to ensure speed to market and we hit deadlines. Always tons to learn so people must have a strong aptitude, very detail oriented, self driven, and can juggle multiple things simultaneously and be comfortable in that space. If you are not a fit, you won't last long as FreedomPay is a very driven company with no time for complacency.
