Pros

The people here are smart and hardworking. A lot of growth opportunity for people who put the work into understanding what we do, which is very complex. A lot of perks- great benefits, free sports tickets, free lunch, flexible environment with time off, and quarterly profit sharing bonus. Not a great place to be if you aren't willing to put the work in and take accountability for your career.

Cons

Not the place for you if you aren't looking to grow your career. A lot of challenges that come with being a growing tech organization, but a lot of opportunity. Ever changing practices and org structures, but understandable.

Pros

One of the biggest advantages of working at FreedomPay is the opportunity for career growth. Over the years, I've been promoted multiple times, which speaks to how FreedomPay recognizes and rewards strong performance. It's a fast paced and dynamic environment, where pivots are often necessary. It means work is exciting and ensures you're always learning. The people here are hardworking, committed and deeply collaborative, making FreedomPay a motivating place to build a career.

Cons

The flip side of opportunity is that they have to be earned. This isn't a place where promotions happen because you've been here the longest; FreedomPay is genuinely a meritocracy. It may not be the right fit for someone looking for a slow pace with a lot of downtime.

Pros

My team was great, I loved my direct manger and director. I knew that they always had my back and they made sure we weren't bogged down with upper management drama. We had a lot of autonomy and freedom to complete work as we saw fit/what worked for us personally. They have a generous mat leave policy- you don't have to be at the company for a certain amount of time before you qualify and good work life balance culture. Good benefits and a quarterly company wide bonus structure that was incentivizing.

Cons

Departments are very siloed, making hard to collaborate. There is no formal review process, which can make it difficult to move up as you have no company measurements to go by.
