Pros

Very vast workspace/s. Friendly fellow Staff - Members & Exhibitors. Something I actually enjoy doing: helping Deliver, Placement, & Retrieval[afterwards) of Furniture, Decor. , Crates, & All other Inventory associated with each Booth. Fair Lunch Break, As well as (*2) 15Min. Breaks throughout a normal 8am-4:30pm Day. Meet many new people & possibilities for networking.

Cons

Very tight spaces whilst driving Forklift with Hundreds-Thousands of Lbs. Of Inventory inside of Wooden crate, Pallet, Metal Cases, & Boxes, etc. - Occasional difficulty accessing / finding certain booths due to number jumps & other workers placement of Freight.

Pros

Work life balance can be good at times and then it could be horrible. Opportunity for career advancement is there if you wait it

Cons

Salary is not great considering the amount of work we do, plus salaried positions do not make any OT money when we have very long weeks working on show site. Yearly annual raise is 3% which is nothing. The only significant raise you can get is if you get promoted to a more senior role. Also the traveling becomes brutal when you are gone for 10 or more days at a time for these shows.
