Pros

-Decent and cheap health benefits, plus 401k, dental, etc. -Plenty of hours to work because they are always understaffed and will force you in so you can make $$$ -Great job if you were just released from prison, or have no friends, or social life, and nobody loves you. -paid weekly

Cons

-No work/life balance whatsoever, especially around holidays. When your family and friends are off work and having a good time, you will be working forced in overtime. -management is like talking to a brick wall, no empathy no intelligence -will force you to work overtime because management is incompetent at planning and staffing -people always quitting because working there is very physical and they are always forcing you to work extra hours beyond what you were sold coming coming on board -systems like the handhelds are 20+ years behind in technology. Windows as a mobile platform? Lol, why would a Fortune 44 company go this route? -HR policies are from the 1980's. They require a Doctor's note to get paid a sick day. How about just have them be personal days or paid days off? Nope, you have to have a doctor's note, so many people take the whole week, even though they only needed one day. -They have a productivity tracker that tracks every second you are on the clock and basically expects you to work like a machine would, for your entire shift of 10-12+ hours. -you will only ever get a small, less than cost of living raise every year of about 1%. It was 22 cents last year, woo-hoo, now I can afford that boat I have been dreaming of! -work there 20 years? Get paid the same as a new hire hired in today. Every warehouse employee is paid the same rate. Believe me, this is a con. Drive a forklift and take on additional safety risks? Doesn't matter, paid the same as an idiot picking PT on the line all day. -walking, standing, working on concrete floor all day is hard on your feet and joints. -incompetence at hiring and staffing has lead management to hire in some shady characters...who you will be working side-by-side with because they are having a difficult time hiring, due to the reputation of the environment of the workplace. For example, wasn't too long ago they hired a guy released from prison for sex crimes of soliciting an underaged minor who was actually a police officer posing as a 12 year old girl. This guy made several female employees nervous at the time, and was eventually fired because he threatened another employee's life. Good hiring decision? Frito Management thought so.

Pros

Pay is ok and great benefits.

Cons

No work life balance. Held accountable for more and more and way too much micro managing lately. Routes are uneven some heavy and some baby routes. Routes run 7 days a week while other vendors dont. You work every holiday except Christmas unless a holiday is on your day off. Plus you work every weekend you work unless your one of the lucky ones. And if something happens in your personal life you have to deal with it after working long hours too much of a pain to call in. They love to say you will be held accountable as its almost a threat.
