Pros

I was in a warehouse for over 2 years. The job itself is not that bad. Pay and benefits are great. The work is very physically demanding but it is easy if you can get past the initial learning stages. You have some flexibility in your work and at least in my warehouse, we weren't micromanaged. Came in, picked up our workload, then went to it.

Cons

I only worked at one distribution center, but my biggest con was the management team. They were ineffective. Saw a few in my years there and they were inexperienced and too immature for the job. They had little experience in the actual warehouse which made leading a warehouse kind of hard. Training is basically nonexistent because of the lack of staff and all the management seemed to care about was better numbers, better numbers, better numbers. Training was never important but they still expected everyone to be experts in a few days.
