Pros

If you are young and willing to work fast and hard 24/7 starting at ridiculous hours from 1am-4am starting times, you can make a decent salary and have pretty good benefits.

Cons

If you want to have no life work balance and be forced to work 12-16 hours a days this is the company for you. Frito Lay gets sued in the state of California every year for paying employees "VROT". Also known as variable rate overtime. This VROT pays frito lay emloyees an hourly overtime rate that is not legal. They get sued every year in but actually save money by getting sued versus paying the legal overtime pay. Check out the numerous class action law suits against Frito Lay over the last 10 years.

Pros

Pay is ok and great benefits.

Cons

No work life balance. Held accountable for more and more and way too much micro managing lately. Routes are uneven some heavy and some baby routes. Routes run 7 days a week while other vendors dont. You work every holiday except Christmas unless a holiday is on your day off. Plus you work every weekend you work unless your one of the lucky ones. And if something happens in your personal life you have to deal with it after working long hours too much of a pain to call in. They love to say you will be held accountable as its almost a threat.
